What does GAP do?

GAP Helps Helpers

Grassroots Aid Partnership recognizes that oftentimes it’s the community-led or grassroots initiatives who are best situated to make a meaningful impact after crises as they naturally grow and morph to meet the needs of their own community. Unfortunately, they are almost always under-funded and resource-starved. GAP seeks these initiatives out and connects them with the resources they need to flourish or responds at their side with mass care operations to assist in their effort.

GAP Helps Givers

Grassroots Aid Partnership recognizes that in times of crisis many want to help, but most find it daunting to figure out how to help. GAP works in partnership with donors and giving companies to understand how the resources they have can connect to the best responders out there for the greatest impact. GAP handles all the logistics, tax deductible paperwork, and provides wrap reports and marketing materials for every gift.

GAP Responds

When communities need outside help, GAP responds with field kitchens that can serve thousands of meals per day, pop up food & aid pantries, provide logistical assistance and disaster expertise. GAP aims to be nimble enough to reinvent itself to be whatever the community needs in each crisis. When GAP deploys to a community, its only agenda is serving that community’s needs and being a compassionate, uplifting force.

GAP connects those that give with those that help
